Honoring the Sanctity of the Adjustment

Honoring the Sanctity of the Adjustment

Last week we talked about whether you honor the adjustment or not.  This week we are going to dive into HOW you honor the adjustment.

First: Schedule care based on correcting subluxations. Not adjusting subluxations but correcting them! Tell your patients what you know it is going to take to correct their subluxations and the underlying habit it has created. If you don’t know how to do this, call me!

Second: Don’t EVER adjust someone to “show” them how an adjustment works. Don’t think that getting a person on a table is the end goal.  Having the person understand why they are on the table is the end goal.

Third: Don’t fill the precious time you are checking their nervous system and adjusting them with idle chit chat.  This is your opportunity to demonstrate by example how important an adjustment is. This is your chance to talk about what health and wellness really mean.

Fourth: DO talk with passion, conviction and purpose.  Be excited, be energetic! Talk about what you are finding, tell them why it matters. Tell them what you expect to change and improve now that their nervous system is free of interference.  Reinforce their why and their schedule so they remember why they started this journey with you.

Fifth: Love being a chiropractor. Love being the best chiropractor because you have worked so hard to be the best.  Love transforming lives. Love witnessing miracles.  Love celebrating health and life with your patients.  Love your team, Love your patients and serve everyone with Love.

Sixth: Have an amazing life! Receive value for providing value. Lead by example a life free of interference. Lead by example a life full of gratitude, love, abundance and respect.

Lastly….once you have arrived, give back. Give back to your state associations, give back to your schools. Give back to the future of our profession. Mentor, speak, share your time and expertise. Give back to move forward. Give back because you ought to, and you have been blessed by chiropractic, share that blessing with others.

If you ever want to know how my program is different and how it will help you having an amazing practice and life fill out my Practice Health Mini Check Up and I’ll take it from there, let’s do this and let’s change the health of your community!
